Back to sea with focus on Dolphins. On this trip if you are lucky you will have the chance of observing more that five hundred dolphins. The long-snouted spinners are a treat to watch in action along with spotted dolphins and Fraser dolphins.

DAY 04: Galle City Tour

Galle is the capital of southern Sri Lanka. In 1587, the Portuguese took over the City of Galle from its Sinhalese kings and built its first fortress, which still stands today reminiscent of the Portuguese, Dutch and British invasions. Its old world charm still appeals as a tourist destination. The influence of the Dutch & the Portuguese is evident in the architecture of the City. The town was the first international commerce and trade center of the island, even today Galle plays an important role in the Sri Lanka’s economy. Galle remains a fortified City built by Europeans in Southern Asia.

DAY 06: Galle / Colombo - End Of Tour or continue your stay at Unawatuna

Transfer to international airport or continue you stay in a hotel of your choice in Unawatuna.
Unawatuna: is a very safe bay and a beach lapped by turquoise waters. It has a perfect family setting for tourists and is the most popular beach town in the South.The waves are good for swimming and the sands are clean and white. Unawatuna is an Idyllic place to hang around and relax.
Here you will find plenty of restaurants serving delicious international and local cuisine. You will also find lots of internet cafe's around and the best mode of transport is to hire a "Tut Tut". Its a beautiful coastal village in the district of Galle.
Far out on a small hillock you will see a Dagaba (a dome shaped temple), a peaceful place amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy beach. Thousands of pilgrims throng to this place of worship every month to offer poojas. During the Colonial period it is written that the Dutch landed in unawatuna in 1640.
